This tutorial will cover how to use the Bluetooth reader, as well as LumiViewer mobile app to unlock doors on the access controller when using the access controller standalone via the WebUI.

===Step by Step Instructions===

1. The first step to start the process would be to log into the WebUI of the access controller. The first thing we will need to do before we can start using Bluetooth cards is to add the access controller into LumiViewer mobile to register it. Anyone can add it to their phone but ideally the main person who manages the device will add it. Once added onto LumiViewer mobile by one person no one else needs to add it. To start this process go to System Settings on the left, then select Network Settings.

2. Once on the network settings page, select the cloud service option along the top. You will want to make sure this is enabled and that it shows online. Then you will use your phone with LumiViewer mobile to scan the QR code to add the device into LumiViewer.

3. Open up your LumiViewer mobile app on the phone. You will need to have a LumiViewer mobile account and be logged into the account in order for this to work. Hit the (+) button in the top right to start the add process.

4. After clicking the (+) button then you will choose the SN/Scan option so you can scan the QR Code.

5. Place the QR Code within the frame of the camera to scan it.

6. After the QR Code scans it will auto populate the serial number and then you can click next to continue the process.

7. After clicking the next button you will choose the type of device, in this case we will select “Access”

9. On the next page you will set your timezone and whether you want to use DST or not. DST is highly recommended if you are in an area that observes DST.

10. Once you see this screen, the access controller has been successfully added to your LumiViewer mobile. We can now go back to the access controller to finish setting things up.

If you don’t have an email added to the user this will be greyed out, and if you haven’t added the controller to LumiViewer mobile, you will get an error that the controller is offline.

14. If everything was set up correctly, after clicking the request through email option you should see a Bluetooth card added to the left of the request through email option. Once that appears you can click add to finalize adding the user.

15. Once the user has been successfully added, you can now look inside your Lumiviewer mobile app and you should see the Bluetooth card option appear.

16. You can then click on the Bluetooth card option to see the actual Bluetooth card that has been added. You can have multiple Bluetooth cards added and you can choose which card is the active card by clicking the 3 dots on the card and moving it to the top. Whichever card is at the top will be the active card.

You will want to go back to the WebUI of the access controller, navigate to the Access Rules on the left, then we will go to door parameters. Once in the door parameter section we will need to enable the different types of unlock methods. By default only the card option is enabled but you will need to enable the Bluetooth card option and then save by clicking apply. You can also change the range of the Bluetooth reader during the process if you wish.

18. Now we can test out our Bluetooth card. In order for the reader to detect the Bluetooth card, you need to have LumiViewer open and you need to be in the Bluetooth card page where it shows the Bluetooth cards you have added. Put your phone close to the reader and it should unlock the door. You can navigate to the Access Monitoring page inside the access controller to confirm that the door is unlocking.
