This guide will cover how to set up pin code unlocking for Luminys Access Control systems via LumiViewer.

===Prerequisites===
* LumiViewer

* Reader with PIN input options

===Step by Step Instructions===

1. From the LumiViewer Home tab, select Person and Permission.

2. Under Person Management, select Add to create a new user. Alternatively, you can click the Edit button under an existing user.

3. Create a numerical User ID and enter a Name. Once filled out, click the Add button beside the Password field.

4. Create and confirm the users pin. The pin can be 1-8 characters, and must be numeric. When finished, click OK.

5. When you are done modifying or creating the user, click Finish.

6. Next we need to make sure that the door can be unlocked with a pin. Return to the Home tab at the top, and select Access Control.

7. Select Access Config on the left select the door you wish to use a pin with. Make sure that the Password box is checked under Unlock Method, and hit Save

8. You are now ready to unlock doors using a pin. To do so, use the following format when unlocking with the reader: '''UserID#Pin#'''

For example, User ID 1, with pin 1234 would enter '''1#1234#''' to gain access.
