This tutorial will go over how to set up and use the C-F4A Facial Recognition Terminal using the LumiViewer PC.

===Prerequisites===
* C-F4A Controller
* LumiViewer PC Software (PC on the same network as controller)

===Step by Step Instructions===
1. From the LumiViewer home page, select Device Manager.

2. Select Auto Search to scan your local network for devices. Locate the C-F4A and select it. If your device is not already activated you can activate it now by clicking Activate. Be sure to take note of the IP address; you will need this later.

3. To activate the device, start by setting the device password, and click Next.

4. Set the email address used for password resets, and click Next.

5. Set the IP settings for the device. You can enter the IP address you noted earlier, or use a known available IP, but you will need to know your gateway and subnet mask. In most situations, the subnet mask will be 255.255.255.0 and the gateway will be the same as the IP address, but using a 1 in the final octet. Click Finish when you are done.

6. LumiViewer will confirm the results of the activation. Click OK to continue.

7. Now that we see the device is active, ensure it is selected and click Add.

8. Enter the username and password for the device.

9. After adding the device, close the Auto Search window and you will see the device in LumiViewer. If you wish to modify the name, click the edit button to the right of the controller.

10. Set the desired Device Name, and click Save.

11. Now that the device is added, go back to the Home page, and select Access Control.

12. Select Access Config on the left, and select the door for the controller. Make sure that Face is selected as an unlock method, and click Save. You can also adjust unlock time, Keep Open / Keep Closed schedules, etc, while on this screen.

13. Go back to the home page, and select Person and Permission.

14. From the Person Management section, select Add to add a new user.

15. Enter a numerical User ID, their name, and then select Take Snapshot or Upload Images under the Face1 and/or Face2 to register an image for the controller to verify.

16. If you selected Upload Images, browse your PC to the directory you have your images saved in and upload them. If you selected the option to take a snapshot, you will be prompted to take a photo. You can use your computer's built-in camera if available, or you can change the Device Type dropdown to Device and then select the controller from the Device dropdown.

Once the face is in frame, click the camera button to take the snapshot.

17. Once the snapshot is completed or the photo is uploaded you will see it in the user information. Click Finish when you are done. Note that you can also add passwords and/or card info while creating the user before finishing, if required.

18. Now that your user is created, you will see it registered in Person Management.

19. Select Permission Management on the left, and click the + to add a new permission group. This will dictate which users have permissions for which doors, at which time.

20. Provide a name for the group, set the access schedule (set under Home > Access Control > Time Templates), select which doors they have access to and click Next.

21. Select the users that are being used with these permission settings, and click OK.

22. Now that the group is created you can see which people have access to which doors and the time template that applies to the group.

23. Everything should be set up to unlock the doors now. To verify, go to Access Monitoring from the home page.

24. In Access Monitoring, successful and unsuccessful unlocks will show in a live feed, confirming if the controller has been set up as expected.
