Step by Step Instructions

Note: Ensure the camera password is the same as the Trailer password. By default, AI by Camera only enables Intrusion Detection (iMD and VCA). Disable all other intelligent analytics, including metadata, face recognition and detection, people counting, heatmap, object detection, and others.

1. The preset linked to the rule on the Channel may have been deleted by users, resulting in the rule becoming invalid.

2. When the Cloud pushes the configuration to the trailer, any rule without a preset point may cause a format mismatch. This can render the rule invalid, requiring it to be deleted and reconfigured.

3. When creating a new VCA Rule and Smart Plan, if the existing Smart Plan contains an error—such as an invalid rule linked to a nonexistent preset—the entire configuration may fail to apply, rendering even the new rule ineffective.

4. When creating a rule through the Trailer WebGUI (not recommended—rules should preferably be set via the Cloud), ensure that AI by Camera is selected.

  1. From Solar Device → Channel, select the desired channel, enter Smart Plan, and configure the preset.
  2. Click Add Plan, then enable VCA.
  3. Enter the VCA page and click New.
  4. After creating the rule, click Apply.

On the rule page, ensure the following parameters are configured with valid values: Enable, Sensitivity, and Condition.

Note: If the above steps are unsuccessful, proceed with the following steps to recreate the rules.

5. Navigate to Solar Device → Setting → Information.

6. At the top, click Device Management. This will redirect to the trailer’s webpage.

7. In Advanced Settings, navigate to Alert Center → Parameters → IVS.

8. Ensure AI by Camera is selected for the corresponding channel.

9. If auto tracking and alarm linkage are required, enable them as the final step. Make sure the Target Filter is checked for both Human and Motor Vehicle if both options are needed. The Tracking Duration is set to 30 seconds by default—adjust this value to extend tracking time if necessary.
