2. In Person Management, click the Add button to add a Person, if you do not already have one. If you do, click edit on the Person you wish to add a card to. | |||

3. Enter a numerical User ID, and provide a Name for the Person, if you are creating a new one. | |||

USB Card Reader
Description
This tutorial will go over how to use the Luminys USB Card Reader to register cards for access control users.
Prerequisites
- LumiViewer
- USB Card Reader connected to PC
Step by Step Instructions
1. Start by opening LumiViewer. From the Home tab, select Person and Permission under the Access Control header.
2. In Person Management, click the Add button to add a Person, if you do not already have one. If you do, click edit on the Person you wish to add a card to.
3. Enter a numerical User ID, and provide a Name for the Person, if you are creating a new one.
4. Scroll down to the Card section, and click on the settings gear to the far right.
5. Select Card Issuer from the Card Reader drop down menu to tell LumiViewer to use the USB Reader as the registration device.
