Step by Step Instructions

Important Note: A password reset on the IP camera requires an email address to have been configured during the camera's initial setup.

1. To reset the password, access the camera's WebUI to view the login screen. On the login screen, select the "Forgot Password" option.

2. Selecting "Forgot Password" will display a notice detailing the data that will be collected for the reset process. Confirm by clicking "OK" to proceed.

3. The next screen will display a QR code required for the reset, along with step-by-step instructions. Verify the email address shown at the bottom of the page to ensure its accuracy. Use the LumiViewer app on a phone to scan the QR code and continue with the reset process.

4. Open the LumiViewer app and navigate to the "Me" section located in the bottom-right corner.

5. On the following page, select "Reset Device Password."

6. The next screen will prompt to scan the QR code using your phone's camera. If this is the first time using the feature, the app may request permission to access the camera.

7. After scanning the QR code, an email will be sent to the address associated with the IP camera. Open the email, where a security code will be provided. This code must be entered on the camera reset page.

8. Enter the security code from the email into the reset page on the IP camera. Afterward, click "Next" to proceed.

9. Once the security code is entered and "Next" is clicked, a page will appear to create a new password. Ensure the password meets the specified requirements, as any deviation will result in the password being rejected. Enter the new password twice to confirm it. Afterward, click "OK" to save the new password.

10. After clicking "OK," a confirmation page will appear, indicating that the password has been reset successfully. Select "Go to login interface now" to return to the login screen and access the camera. This completes the process of resetting the IP camera password.
