Step by Step Instructions

1. Today we will be learning about LumiNet, the first thing we want to understand is what is LumiNet. LumiNet is a cloud service provided by Luminys. You can bind your LumiCenter domain to your LumiNet account so you can access your LumiCenter domain from anywhere as long as there is an internet connection. In other words it is safe to say that LumiCenter supports a P2P connection. On LumiNet you can have liveview and playback on all of your cameras on your LumiCenter domain, besides you also have many other options. For example “Event Statistics Dashboard”

2. Next we will be learning how to bind your LumiCenter domain to your LumiNet account. There are 2 main prerequisites for this to work: You must have a LumiCenter - Pro License, and your LumiCenter domain must be connected to the internet.

3. The first step is to navigate to (https://net.lumi-center.com/) Once there you will want to register for your account using the sign up option in the bottom right.

4. Once registered and logged in, up in the top right you will see a plus button. Click this (+) button to bring up a token which you will use to bin your LumiCenter domain to your LumiNet. Click the copy button to the right of the token to copy the token to the clipboard. Next we will go to the LumiCenter Domain.

5. Once in your LumiCenter domain, you will want to navigate to “Options” along the top and then “LumiNet” on the left. Once there, there are 2 very important sections. First you will want to paste your token into the token field, then the next will be to input the LumiNet URL into the Cloud URL field. After both of those have been input click on “Connect Domain” located between those 2 fields.

6. If your token and the LumiNet URL were input correctly, you should now see that it shows LumiNet connected.

7. Once your LumiCenter shows connected, you can navigate back to the LumiNet interface. From here you should now see your LumiCenter domain on the main page.

8. Click on one of the domains and the first thing you will see is the LumiCenter webclient. You can have the LiveView, the playback and the search function in the LumiCenter webclient on the LumiNet interface. For more information on the LumiCenter webclient, please refer to chapter 8. This concludes how to bind your LumiCenter to your LumiNet domain.
