Reset LumiCloud User Account Password

Description

This article will cover how to reset the password of a LumiCloud User Account

Prerequisites

• A computer with a a web browswer
• LumiCloud User Account setup

Step by Step Instructions

1. Open a web browser and navigate to the LumiCloud User Portal.
Click on Retrieve Password at the bottom

2. Enter the email address of the email address of the user account, that you want to reset the password, in the Email Address field.
Click on Get Code in the Verification Code field

3. An Email will be sent to the email address that was entered above.
Log into that email and open the message that was sent from LumiCloud.
Copy the code that is included in the email

4. Enter a new password in the Password field.
Verify that the new password is between 8 and 32 characters, and a combination of 2 or more of the following:

• Numbers
• Letters
• Symbols

Type the exact same password in the Confirm Password field.
Enter the code that was recieved in the email, in the previous step, in the Verification Code field.
Click on Finish

5. You will see "The password reset was successful" at the top.
You can now log in with the updated password
