Allocate Licenses to a User via LumiPartner Website
Description
This tutorial will go over how to allocate licenses to end user devices or to end user accounts using the LumiPartner website (https://bss.lumicloud.com).
If you chose to assign a license to the users account, the end user will need to assign the license to the device on their own. See here for instructions on how the end user can apply licenses to their devices: Coming Soon
Prerequisites
- LumiPartner Account, logged in on LumiPartner website (https://bss.lumicloud.com)
- Available License(s)
Assign To a Users Device
1. Start by logging in to your LumiPartner account and selecting License Management > License Allocation.
2. Locate the license you wish to apply, and select Allocate.
3. Select the customer who’s device you wish to allocate the license to from the drop down. Once it loads their devices, check the box for the device you wish to use and click Allocate in the bottom right.
Assign To a Users Account
1. Start by logging in to your LumiPartner account at https://bss.lumicloud.com and selecting License Management > License Allocation.
2. Locate the license you wish to assign, and select Allocate to Customer.
3. Select the customer for which you wish to assign the license from the dropdown. After you have selected the customer, you can select the number of licenses of the chosen type you want to assign to them, and click Allocate in the bottom right.
As mentioned at the top of this guide, if you chose to assign a license to a users account, they will need to manually allocate the license to their device(s) form the end user LumiCloud website.
