Set Up VCA for PTZs via LumiCloud Website
Description
This tutorial will go over how to setup VCA for cameras via LumiCloud.
Prerequisites
- LumiCloud account logged in to https://webapp.lumicloud.com
- Device with licensed video channels
Instructions
1. Start logging in to your LumiCloud account at https://webapp.lumicloud.com
2. Once you are logged in, ensure you are on the correct device type by selecting the device type menu at the top of the list, and clicking on Video.
3. Select your device group from the Devices List, and click on Channel to access the channel list.
4. In the channel list, select the Settings button beside the camera for which you wish to set up the VCA rule.
5. Select the VCA option on the left, and click on New to create a new rule.
6. Select the VCA rule type you are setting up, and click Confirm.
7. Make sure you Enable the rule, and apply any settings for the rule such as Schedule, Sensitivity, etc. In this example, we created an Intrusion rule, so we must also draw a box in the video preview window. To do this, simply click to create a point for each vertex of the intrusion area, ensuring you close the box. For tripwire, you follow the same process, but don't need to close the box. When done, click Save.
8. Now that the rule is set up and saved, you will see it in the list of VCA rules for the channel, and your VCA rule is online. You can click edit to make changes to the rule, disable the rule, or delete it entirely.
