iMD Setup for a Direct to Cloud Camera via LumiCloud Web
Description
This tutorial will go over how to enable intelligent motion detection (iMD) for a Direct to Cloud Camera in LumiCloud.
Prerequisites
- LumiCloud account logged in to https://webapp.lumicloud.com
- Direct to Cloud Camera with active license
Instructions
1. Log into the LumiCloud User Portal.
Click on the Device Type Selection at the top left, and select Video
2. Click on Devices on the left.
Then click on Settings next to the Direct to Cloud camera in the list
3. Select IMD on the left.
Enable the sliders next to Enable, IMD Enable, and SnapshotEnable.
Then enable the sliders next to either Human Detection, Vehicle Detection, or both, to choose what type of targets will be filtered.
Click the drop-down next to Detection Sensitivity to choose how sensitive the motion detection is for it to trigger.
Click the drop-down next to Detection Schedule and choose either All Day to detect iMD events 24/7, or Custom to set a specific schedule.
If you selected Custom, drag and highlight on the schedule below to set which times each day that iMD events are detected. (Blue means it will detect them, Grey means it will not.)
Click on Save at the top right to save your changes
