VCA Setup for a Direct to Cloud Camera via LumiCloud Web

Description

This tutorial will go over how to enable VCA for a Direct to Cloud Camera in LumiCloud.

Prerequisites

Instructions

1. Log into the LumiCloud User Portal.
Click on the Device Type Selection at the top left, and select Video

2. Click on Devices on the left.
Then click on Settings next to the Direct to Cloud camera in the list

3. Select VCA on the left.
Then click on + New

4. Either click on Intrusion or Line Crossing.
Then click on Confirm

5. Left click on the live view of the camera to start drawing the detection area.
Continue clicking until you are done drawing the detection area.
Enable the slider under Enable.
Check the box under Action for Appear, if you want it to trigger when a target appears inside the detection area, or Cross, if you want it to trigger when a target crosses the outside of the detection area, or check the boxes for both.
Under Condition select either Walk In, if you want it to trigger when a target moves from the outside to the inside of the detection area, or Go Out, if you want it to trigger when a target moves from the inside to the outside of the detection area, or All for both directions.
Under Schedule select either All Day, if you want it to trigger 24/7, or Custom if you want it to trigger on specific days and times.
If you chose Custom, highlight one of the days of the week and click the + Add button.
Then enter the start time and end time for when you want the VCA rule to be able to trigger.
Repeat this for each day of the week.
Under Active Day of the Week click on each day of the week that you want the VCA rule to be able to trigger.
Click on Save at the bottom

6. You will see the saved and active VCA rule in the list
