How to use or disable the white light on N3T-5KA2
Description
This tutorial will go over how to use or disable the white light on the N3T-5KA2 Kit cameras.
Prerequisites
- LumiLuxLite (N3T-5KA2) camera running 6.2.177.410000 or newer firmware
- R3 Series NVR running 11-11-2025 or newer firmware
- Local monitor and mouse or access to WebUI
- IMD (Human) must be enabled for the white light to trigger.
Step by Step Instructions
1. From the NVRs local monitor, or once you are logged in to the NVRs WebUI, select the Camera menu. Once on the camera menu, choose the image attributes option on the left.
2. Once in the image attributes section, first choose the channel for the camera that you want to change the setting for and then you will want to select the Illumination Light option on the right.
3. Once in the Illumination Light section you will have a drop down that by default will be on "LumiLuxSmart", this is the setting that relies on IMD to trigger the white light when a human is detected. If you want the white light to turn on when a human walks in front then you don't need to do anything, if you want to disable the white light, then you will click the drop down and change it to "Infrared Mode". This will tell the camera that when it is dark, stay in IR mode.
