Kits/LumiLuxLite VCA Setup
Setting up VCA Rules for LumiLuxLite Cameras via NVR
Description
This tutorial will go over how to set up VCA rules for LumiLuxLite cameras via NVR (WebUI or Local).
Prerequisites
- LumiLuxLite (N3T-5KA2) camera running 6.2.177.410000 or newer firmware
- R3 Series NVR running 11-11-2025 or newer firmware
- Local monitor and mouse or access to WebUI
Step by Step Instructions
1. From the NVRs local monitor, or once you are logged in to the NVRs WebUI, select the Camera menu (1) along the top, and then AI Event (2) on the left. In the menu that drops down select VCA (3).
2. Select the Channel (4) you wish to set up VCA with, and enable the VCA rule (5). Note that LumiLuxLite cameras only support Intrusion, they do not support Tripwire.
3. Set your desired target filters (6) and click the Draw Rule (7) button. For local monitors, you must click the Draw Rule button (7) to modify target filters. While drawing the rule, left-click in the video preview window to place each vertex of your Intrusion area. Note that the Intrusion area must have 6 vertices. After clicking the 6th time, the are will automatically be closed by joining the first and sixth vertex.
4. Set any other Triggers you need, such as recording additional channels, setting recording delays, or creating a PTZ Linkage. When finished, click Apply (8) to save your settings.
5. Once completed you will be able to search for VCA events for this channel under the Search > Smart Search > VCA menu.
