This article will cover adding, editing, moving, and deleting Layouts in LumiCenter
Prerequisites
- LumiCenter Server and Client installed, running, and logged in
- Cameras added to LumiCenter Server

Step by Step Instructions
Create a New Layout
1. In the Layouts section of LumiCenter click on the Layout Management Menu at the top.
Click on one of the different layout icons under Create new layout.
This will create a new layout with that number of cameras and automatically pull up cameras from the beginning of your device list
2. Drag and drop any of the cameras from the list on the left to change which cameras show in the layout.
When you are done making changes, click on Save at the top
3. The new saved layout will appear at the top
4. To pull up any saved layout, click on the arrow to the right of the current layout name at the top, and then click on the layout you want to view
Adjust Layout Zoom Level
1. Click on an individual camera's live view.
Then click on the full layout view icon at the top, to view all the cameras in this layout
2. Click on the zoomed in view icon at the top to zoom in to a 4 camera view, centered around the camera that you selected
3. Click on the single view icon at the top to zoom in to a single camera view of the selected camera
Layout Management Menu
1. Click on the Layout Management Menu at the top.
Then click on Duplicate layout
2. This will duplicate the layout that you were already viewing.
Rearrange and add more cameras from the list on the left, until the new view you have created is configured the way you want it.
Then click on Save at the top
3. Click on the Layout Management Menu at the top.
Then click on Delete/Move layouts
4. To delete the current layout, click on the X button at the top of the layout's name
5. Click on the arrow to the right of the current view name at the top.
You can drag around the layouts in the list to change their order.
You can also click on the X button at the top of any of the layouts to delete them
6. Click on the Layout Management Menu at the top.
Then click on Edit layout/map
7. Click on the Layout Management Menu at the top.
Select from the the different options to make changes to the current layout:
- Add map - Add a map to the current layout
- Delete map - Remove the map from the current layout, if there is one present
- Image size adjustment - Adjust the digital zoom level of any cameras in the layout
- Use in alarm layout - Makes the current layout an alarm layout
- Enable alarm monitor mode - Changes the layout to Alarm Monitor Mode, which only displays cameras in that layout that have been alarmed
- Clear all cells - Clears all the cameras in the layout, so more can be added in any order
- Share layout - Share the layout to other users on the current LumiCenter server
8. Click on the Layout Management Menu at the top.
Click on Use by default
9. Click on the arrow to the right of the current view name at the top.
You will now see a House icon above the view you just made Default.
Whenever LumiCenter and the Layouts section are closed and re-opened, it will automatically load this view
10. Click on the Layout Management Menu at the top.
To remove the current layout as the default layout select Do no use by default
11. Click on the Layout Management Menu at the top.
Select Start slideshow to start rotating through all of your layouts
12. Click on the Layout Management Menu at the top.
To stop the currently running slideshow select Stop slideshow
13. Click on the Layout Management Menu at the top.
Select the Alarmed Cameras option under Create new layout
14. The Armed Cameras layout shows the live view of all cameras with alarms currently active
15. Click on the Layout Management Menu at the top.
Then select the Marked Cameras option under Create new layout
16. Click on the Star icon to the left of any device in the list on the left.
The starred devices will show up in the Marked cameras layout
Layout Search
1. Enter part or all of the name of devices in the Search field at the top left.
The list of devices will dynamically change to match whatever has been typed in.
Additionally, you can click on the drop-down next to the Search field to filter by server and sub-server
