Step by Step Instructions

1. Today we will be learning how to use the LumiCenter LumiSearch function. As you may know LumiCenter has a number of detection tools that will detect humans as well as vehicles from the video feed, it will then save this data in the database. For example, we will choose a video channel and then click the search option.

2. You will want to make sure you are selected on the image search option within the search parameters. Then choose the timeline you want to search and click search. You will then see a series of results. The first set of results will be any human or vehicles detected by the camera.

3. Next you can then do a secondary search using the results. First select a result on the right for a human you would like to search for, that result will appear on the left. From there you can click on the human within the playback window and you will notice it adds the image below in the search. You can then do your secondary search using the image that it has selected by clicking the search at the bottom again.

4. Now you will see the search results for the specific target you have chosen on the right hand side.

5. If you have other cameras that are powered by the same detection tools, you can also search across those cameras. On the left hand side, add a check to any additional cameras you would like to search on and then click the search button again. You will now see search results from multiple cameras you have selected.

6. You can also adjust the similarity to get more precise results. Click search again to see your more precise results.

7. There is one very important thing, you have to make sure the camera you want to use LumiSearch on has a detection tool that has “matched data” for example neurotracker. This completes how to use the LumiSearch function within LumiCenter.
