Set Up iMD via LumiCloud Web

Description

This tutorial will go over how to enable intelligent motion detection (iMD) in LumiCloud.

Prerequisites

• LumiCloud account logged in to https://webapp.lumicloud.com
• Device with licensed video channels

Instructions

1. First log into the LumiCloud End User Portal, you will notice it should arrive at the main dashboard, and top left by default Solar Trailer is selected. Click on that and select the device you are going to view. For our purpose select Video to view NVR and Cameras that are added.

2. Select Devices on the left, and you should now see a your authorized devices. From here, select Channel for the device you wish to set up with iMD.

3. Now LumiCLoud will list available options to Configure. For the purpose of this document we will chose IMD.

4. Toggle IMD Enable, Enable Snapshot (without this the events will not save or be viewable under Events) and choose to use Vehicle, Human or Both. (You will have to select at least one). For Detection Sensitivity, select Low, Middle, or High.

For the Detection Schedule you can choose All Day or Custom. Custom allows to you select the desired day or days it will monitor. Choose Apply when done.

5. Once completed you can click on Events on the left to view them. You can also filter desired event types and hit Apply to see filtered results.
