LumiViewer Mobile App/How to Share Account Devices in LumiViewer
Description
This tutorial will go over how to share account-bound devices from your account (owner) in the LumiViewer mobile app to another users account (user).
Prerequisites
- LumiViewer Mobile App
- LumiViewer Account registered and logged in (both user and owner)
- Luminys device added to your account (owner)
- Email address used by the user for LumiViewer
Step by Step Instructions
1. Start by opening your LumiViewer app. From the home page, open the Me tab by tapping Me in the bottom right.
2. From the Me tab, select Device Sharing.
3. Tap Share Device to continue with the process.
4. On the next page you will be asked to input the email address for the account you would like to share the device with. Enter the users email address they registered for LumiViewer with, and tap Next.
5. Next, you will be shown a list of devices that you have available to share. Put a check beside the device that you want to share and tap Next.
6. Next you will be asked to choose what type of permissions you want to provide for the user. You are required to provide live view and video playback permissions, but Device Control and Push Notifications are optional. Select what you require, and tap Ok.
7. After successfully sharing you should be taken to a page that shows who you have shared with. This concludes how to share devices with other users.
