LumiSearch Using Target Attributes

1. To search by defined attributes, start by opening the NVR’s WebGUI, logging in, and navigating to the Search tab at the top, expanding Smart Search on the left, and selecting LumiSearch. It should default to the Attribute Search automatically, but if not, select the Attribute Search tab.

2. In the Attribute Search, you will be provided with basic search parameters, such as Channel, Start / End date and time, as well as the target type.

3. Depending on the Target Type you select, you will have a set of attributes that you can use to refine your search. You are not limited to one Attribute type, and may use multiple at one time to generate more specific results.

LumiSearch Using an Image

1. To use LumiSearch with an image, start by navigating to Search > Smart Search > LumiSearch, and selecting the LumiSearch tab at the top. Select the desired channels, start, and end times. If you have not already uploaded any images for LumiSearch click Select from Local to select an image you wish to use for LumiSearch. You can upload up to 20 images at one time, but can only search one at a time.

2. Once you have uploaded your image(s), you can then select the image you want to use for your search, and click the Search button.

3. LumiSearch will return results for the selected image and time frame / channels using default Similarity (80%). Once in your results, LumiSearch via image will provide all the normal LumiSearch Features.
