This article will cover how to use LumiSearch to search for events via Smart Search Results
Prerequisites
- LumiSearch enabled
- NVR WebGUI access
Video Instructions
Step by Step Instructions
1. Log into the NVR's web interface.
Click on Search at the top.
Expand Smart Search on the left.
Select one of the Smart Search options. In this example, we selected VCA Search.
Select one or more channels from the drop-down next to Channel.
Adjust the Date and Time next to Start Time and End Time for the time range.
Select one of the event types from the drop-down next to Event Type to filter which type of VCA events.
Click on Search
2. Double Click on any of the results in the list to start playing the event in the player on the right.
Once there is a target (Human or Vehicle) in view in the clip, click on the LumiSearch magnifying glass icon
3. Click the Magnifying Glass icon at the bottom right of the box around the target you want to perform the LumiSearch on
4. LumiSearch will return results for the selected target, with the default Similarity of 80%. Once in the results, LumiSearch via Smart Search will provide all the normal LumiSearch Features.
